Staff, Hours, and Directions
 

The Archdiocesan Archives is located in the Chancery building, which was commissioned by Bishop Shaughnessy in 1938. The Chancery was expanded in 1984. The main entrance is now on the corner of 9th Avenue and Marion Street, one block north of St. James Cathedral.

Staff
The staff provides services on-site, over the telephone, and by e-mail.  They can also be reached by postal mail.

Directions

Northbound I-5: Take the Madison Street exit. Make a right turn on Madison Street. Turn right on 9th Avenue.  Turn left on Marion Street.
Southbound I-5:  Take the James Street exit.  Turn left on Cherry Street, proceed up the hill.  Turn left on 9th Avenue.  Turn right on Marion Street.

Parking

Free parking is available for guests in the Chancery garage, 710 9th Avenue (register at the reception desk).  Parking is also available at an hourly rate in the Cabrini Tower one block east of the Chancery at the corner of Marion & Boren streets.
