The Office of Human Resources
The Office of Human Resources extends the ministry of the Archbishop in supporting ordained, religious and lay ministers and employees by assuring the development and implementation of policies and procedures to assure that employment relationships in the Archdiocese of Seattle are consistent with Catholic teaching and canon law. The dignity of the human person, communio, good stewardship of the resources entrusted to us, and consideration of the common good, are among the values that guide the Office’s efforts. The Office develops and administers the human resource policies for lay employees, compensation plans for clergy, religious and lay employees, the Safe Environment Program, the compliance program, and includes the Benefits Services Office that administers the health, welfare and retirement plans for clergy and lay employees.
