OFFICIAL APPOINTMENTS

The Most Rev. Alex J. Brunett, wishing to provide more fully for the good of the People of God in the Archdiocese of Seattle, and after careful consultation with the Chrisian Faithful and the Priest Personnel Board, makes the following pastoral appointments in accord with canon 1983 Code of Canon Law.

Very Rev. Gary Zender
is appointed Vicar for Charities. He serves as Chair of the Boards of Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services, and Chair of the Board of the Catholic Charities Foundation, effective January 1, 2010. He will continue as Pastor of St. Anthony’s Parish and School in Renton. |

Very Rev. David Mulholland
is appointed Vicar for Clergy Designate succeeding to Vicar for Clergy on July 1, 2010. He is curently serving as Pastor of St. Joseph in Chehalis, St. Mary in Centralia, Holy Family in Frances, St. Joseph in Pe Ell, St. Francis Xavier in Toledo, and Sacred Heart in Winlock. His appointment as Vicar Designate is effective February 3, 2010, and he will continue his service as Pastor until July 2010. |
